These terms govern access to and use of PiCode (https://getpicode.app), a code editor with cloud settings synchronization. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.
Creating a PiCode account is free and requires a valid, verified email address. Cloud synchronization is a Pro feature: to synchronize your settings you also need an active Pro subscription. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that takes place in your account. You must provide truthful information and keep it up to date.
Cloud synchronization is included with Pro only: the free plan stores nothing. For Pro accounts the service synchronizes your editor settings across your devices, subject to the usage quotas (storage, number of devices or other limits) described on the plans page. We do not use your synchronized settings to train machine learning models.
The PiCode software, its source code (published under the MIT license), its trademarks and the platform content belong to their respective owners. The data and settings you synchronize through the service are yours and are processed solely to provide the service to you.
We strive to keep the service available and operational, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may perform maintenance, update features and modify characteristics of the service, notifying of substantial changes where reasonably possible.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PiCode shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, nor for data loss not attributable to a failure of the service itself. Our total liability shall in any case be limited to the amount paid in the twelve months preceding the causal event. Nothing in this section limits the mandatory rights granted to you by consumer protection law.
These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts and tribunals that are competent under applicable law.
